My name is Víctor, and although I am introverted at first, I am very passionate about my hobbies and the good people I meet. I enjoy taking photos, visiting amazing places, playing video games, the electric guitar, and other kinds of art.

Also, I'm a Computer Engineer with a Master's degree in Embedded and Distributed Systems at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). I passed the public examinations to become a Space Systems Engineer at INTA, making me able to keep developing satellites and space-oriented instruments forever!

Since then, I have been developing software for subsystems such as OBC and ADCS. Tools to process telemetry, images, and spectra. And a bit of assembly and integration, as well as satellite operations. I am grateful to have been able to experience all of that and what is yet to come.

The reason I started this blog is that I have always wanted to deeply understand the technology I use and wanted to share the projects I am working on. Most of them are related to systems administration, programming languages, embedded systems, and projects from other fields, such as photography.

Personal Projects§

  • ViNES Emulator A Nintendo Entertainment System emulator written in Rust. Currently only CPU emulation works (but it is almost as good as Mesen)

  • COSMOS (Chip8 Emulator) A High-level emulator of the CHIP-8 interpreted language targeting the COSMAC-VIP 8-bit microcomputer

  • ANSER · 2020:2024 · Software and ADCS Subsystem for the ANSER Nanosatellites · INTA
    • Consisting of a set of three satellites operating in formation flight to measure the water quality of reservoirs and marshes on the Iberian Peninsula. NORAD (58018U and 58019U)
    • ANSER-LeaderS: A replacement for the missing ANSER-Leader with improved comms (S-band + UHF) and ADCS.
  • COMMSMART · 2018:2020 · Goniometer server using software defined radio (USRP 2945) · UPM-IECISA
